Setting up the initial connection was straightforward enough, though I do have a minor quirk to report. While it's great that you can use your own headphones, the output signal seemed a bit too hot or over-amplified straight out of the box. I ended up implementing a simple in-line volume attenuator, and now the audio quality is absolutely fantastic for both music and chatter.
The Bluetooth 5.4 connection feels very stable, and having the integrated FM Radio is a nice bonus for solo stretches. Most of the feedback I've seen echoed that it's a solid device, something like 'Good device, good service,' which certainly matches my experience so far.
Functionality-wise, the mesh capability is what I was primarily after, and testing it out showed great range and clarity between the first few units we paired. It’s certainly more robust than simple point-to-point Bluetooth intercoms we’ve used previously. Although some might note that it lacks a screen, for a device primarily managed by simple button presses while riding, this isn't a hindrance; it’s 'ok, nothing extreme,' as one user put it, but it delivers on its core communication promise.
If you are part of an active riding group looking for reliable, long-range communication that supports a decent number of riders, I genuinely recommend looking at this product. It’s a significant step up for coordinating maneuvers and just chatting on the highway. Even with the minor volume adjustment I made, the overall value for the features packed into this unit is excellent.
